First of all, to learn a language, it’s essential to make learning fun. Don’t put yourself under too much pressure and force too much in too little time into your head. It just won’t work. You’ll memorize much better if you repeat the subject matter in small portions over a longer period of time.
Also, you should aim to learn regularly in small chunks of time. You may also watch TV to learn a foreign language. Try, for example, watching an episode of a show with subtitles first and then again without them. Find out how much you understand.
It would help if you also try to find friends who already speak that language, preferably as their mother tongue. If you can’t come up with a specific word, try to explain what you mean without using another language!
And an essential rule in learning a new language: Don’t worry about making a fool of yourself. Mistakes are a normal and crucial part of learning!
There is probably no “easiest” language to learn because it all depends. But it’s easier learning a language that’s quite similar to your native language or some other language you may already know than something that’s completely strange to you.
But a lot of people stated that they found Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian the easiest languages to learn – at least as English speakers.
As with the easiest languages, it’s probably hard to say which language is the hardest. As always, it depends.
But most people would state that Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, and Hungarian are among the hardest languages to learn.
Again, it all depends. It depends on your motivation, the time you spend learning, and more often than not on the language, you’re trying to learn.
Becoming fluent in a language may take a long time, but being able to communicate – for example, asking for directions on your vacation, etc. – can be achieved quite fast!🤓 More Quizzes
