Playing card games is a great way to keep yourself entertained whether you are playing one on one or with a group of people. When you throw in alcohol, you add the factor of drunk people playing which will make any game more intense and unpredictable!
What is Fuck the Dealer?
The Fuck the Dealer drinking game is a fun and easy card-based game where players need to guess the value of the top card on the top of the deck. Also known as “Screw the Dealer”, this game makes players take turns acting as the dealer while the rest of the players try to guess what card the dealer is holding.
Depending on whether their guesses are correct or not, the players or the dealer will have to drink! As the game goes on and cards are taken out play, the players can better guess the remaining cards which makes the game more exciting!

How to Play Fuck the Dealer
To play the Fuck the Dealer drinking game, players should first sit around the table. Everyone gets a card, and the player with the lowest card starts as the dealer. Keep in mind that deuce cards are the lowest while ace cards are the highest.
The dealer then places the deck of cards face down in the middle of the table. To start the game, the designated dealer asks the player to their left to guess which suit the next card will have. This could be a suit of hearts, spades, clubs or diamonds.
If the player/guesser answers correctly, the dealer must drink and the player who has answered will become the new dealer. If the player/guesser gets it wrong, he/she must take a drink.
The dealer then asks the same player the next question: What is the value of the next cards on the deck (2-10, ace, king, queen, jack).
If the player answers correctly, the dealer must drink and the player becomes the new dealer. If the player answers wrongly he must drink himself and the dealer asks the next question.
Does the next card in the card deck have a higher or a lower value than the previously revealed card? If the player answers correctly, the dealer must drink. Otherwise, the player has to drink again.
The dealer changes after three incorrect answers. The person sitting to the left of the dealer becomes the new dealer and the game is restarted.
Fuck the Dealer can also be played until the player guesses correctly or the deck is empty, but this can really get you drunk (too) quickly.
Fuck the Dealer Rules
Fuck the Dealer has many rule variations that you can apply to make your game more exciting! Once you get the hang of it, you can even make up your own rules!
We mentioned earlier that the usual penalty is that the player who guessed the card incorrectly must drink, but we didn’t specify how much they need to drink! You can come up with rules that say how much or how little they should drink!
The penalty drink is just one game element that you can tweak. Here are additional Fuck the Dealer Rules for you to check out:
Number of Penalty Drinks
If the player is correct on the first guess (suit of the card), the dealer must take 4 drinks. If the player is incorrect, the dealer asks the player Higher or Lower.
If the player is correct on the second guess (value of the card), the dealer must take 2 drinks. If the player is wrong, he/she must take a drink based on the difference between the actual value of the card and their second guess.
For example: If your guess was 5 and the card was an 8, you must take 3 drinks.
Once the player takes the drink, the card must be turned face up, and the game continues with the next player.
Dealer’s Choice
The dealer may pass the deck to any player after successfully dealing to 3 players.
Face Down
The discarded cards can be faced down instead of turned up to make the game more challenging.
Social
Once all 4 suits of a card have been used, everyone must drink.
Fuck the Dealer Tips
Fuck the Dealer can be quite deadly especially if you’re the dealer. There’s a high chance that you’ll end up totally wasted! If you don’t want people getting drunk too quickly, feel free to adjust the amount of alcohol that players need to drink.
Even if Fuck the Dealer is purely a guessing same, you should still try to make smart guesses if you can.

When making your first guess, choose cards near the center of the deck: The good card numbers to start with are 6, 7, and 8. Any of these cards will give you better chances of making a correct second guess when the dealer asks you Higher or Lower since you know the card would be one of the remaining numbers.
Pay attention to the cards that have been called already: If there are three 6 cards on the table, but there are no 5 cards, then you can start your first guess with a 5 not a 6 card.

Since Fuck the Dealer and Kings Cup are both card games wherein people need to do actions based on their cards with some rule differences, you can easily combine these two and create the ultimate Fuck the Dealer & Kings Cup combination!
To start off, you play Fuck the Dealer as usual. The only thing different is that once the dealer shows a card, players need to perform the action associated with the card similar to how it works in Kings Cup!
Here are some card rules that you can use:
Two
Two is for you: Whoever is the guesser will pick somebody to take a drink.
Three
Three is for glee: The guesser sings a song. If most people join in, those who don’t must drink. If nobody joins in, the guesser drinks.
Four
Four is herbivore: Vegans and vegetarians must drink.
Five
Five is high five: Everyone puts their hands together. The last two people [or one person] to get both of their palms against someone else’s palms must drink.
Six
Six is for chicks: All the girls at the table drink.
Seven
Seven is 7-11: The guesser has to get more drinks.
Eight
Eight is for late: The last person to arrive at the party drinks.
Nine
Nine is rhyme time: Guesser starts with a word or phrase, and everybody has to come up with a new word or phrase that rhymes until somebody messes up, then they have to drink.
Ten
Ten is for categories: Guesser picks a category and everybody has to name something in the category until somebody messes up.
Jack
Jack is for smack: Guesser smacks himself/herself anywhere on their body. Players who laugh must drink. If no one laughs, the guesser must drink.
Queen
Queen is for quench: The guesser quenches their thirst and must drink water.
King
King is “Make a Rule”: Guesser makes a rule.
Ace
Ace is for waterfall: Start with the guesser. Guesser gets to pick the direction the waterfall will go in.
Drink responsibly
Drinking games are great for de-stressing and letting loose. You can have all the fun that you want, but just remember to drink responsibly. Know your limits when drinking alcohol, and don’t drink and drive!
