1. Kings Cup

A list of drinking games wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the classic Kings Cup. This game is perfect for couples who want to add laughter and fun to their date night, and it’s just as easy to learn!

How to Play Kings Cup

Playing Kings Cup with your partner is easy. All you need is a standard deck of cards, your favorite drinks, and fun-loving energy. Here’s how to play:

1. Spread out a deck of cards on the table surrounding an empty cup.

This is what you’ll use to play the game. All cards should be facing down.

2. Decide who goes first.

Play rock-paper-scissors, flip a coin, or let the person who last spilled a drink go first.

3. Take turns drawing cards and follow the rules.

Each rule corresponds to a specific card or suit. This is where the fun starts! Here are some examples:

  • Ace: Waterfall - Both players drink continuously until one decides to stop.
  • 2: You - Choose the other player to take a drink.
  • 3: Me - Take a drink yourself.
  • 4: Whores - Your partner drinks.
  • 5: Thumb Master - Whenever you put your thumb down, the other player has to do it, and the last person to do so drinks.
  • 6: Dicks - You drink.
  • 7: Heaven - Both players reach for the sky, and the last one to do so drinks.
  • 8: Mate - Both players become drinking buddies. Whenever one drinks, the other does too, and vice versa.
  • 9: Rhyme - Say a word, and the other player must think of a word that rhymes, going back and forth until someone messes up and drinks.
  • 10: Categories - Choose a category, and both players take turns saying something that fits in it—the player who can’t think of anything fast enough drinks.
  • Jack: Make a Rule - Create a rule that both players must follow for the rest of the game.
  • Queen: Questions - Ask each other questions, and whoever doesn’t answer a question with another question drinks.
  • King: Pour some of your drink into a shared cup. The person who draws the last king must chug whatever is in that cup!

4. Keep playing until all the cards are drawn.

The person who draws the last king must chug the cup in the middle, and the game ends.

Kings Cup Cules

Players do different tasks depending on the cards they pick. And that’s what makes Kings Cup exciting!

It is one of the best couple card games around since players never know what rule will come up, which keeps the game tense and unpredictable.

Here are some special Kings Cup rules to make your game more challenging!

1. No Laughing

If you laugh at any point during the game, you can’t show your teeth! If you show your teeth, you must drink.

2. Strip Kings Cup

If you or your partner say each other’s name at any point during the game, the one who said the name must remove a piece of clothing!

3. Buffalo Club

The Buffalo Club rule requires players to hold their drinks with their non-dominant hand. If you or your partner catch each other holding drinks with the dominant hand, the one who broke the rule must drink!

4. Compliment Time

Every time you or your partner tells each other to drink, you must compliment the other player. The one who fails to give a compliment must drink!

5. No Phones Allowed

If you or your partner touches your phone during the game, the one who broke the rule must take a sexy selfie on their phone and send it to the other player!

2. Fuck You Pyramid

If you and your partner have a competitive streak, Fuck You Pyramid will be perfect for your date night. This card game is simple yet entertaining, making it a popular choice among couples.

It’s all about nominating each other to drink based on taking turns flipping cards on the table, which are laid out in a pyramid formation. Ready to make your partner drunk and get them “fucked”?

How to Play Fuck You Pyramid

When playing Fuck You Pyramid, you only need a deck of cards and a lot of alcohol to get started. Be sure to shuffle the deck well before beginning the game!

1. Shuffle the deck of cards well!

Place the cards face down on the table in a pyramid formation. There should be four layers, with four cards on the bottom, three cards on the next, two cards, and just 1 card on the top.

2. Do a toss coin to determine the dealer between the two of you.

The dealer will turn over the leftmost card on the bottom layer of the pyramid to start the game.

3. Both players can place cards on the table with the same suit/value as the revealed card.

Whoever places their card first gets to say “Fuck You, Player X,” and whoever fails to place their card must drink. The number of drinks for each pyramid layer is as follows:

  • Bottom layer: Drink once
  • Third layer: Drink twice
  • Second layer: Drink three times
  • Topmost single card: Take four sips from your drink (basically drinking the entire glass!)

4. Keep playing until all the cards are flipped.

The game ends when all the cards have been flipped over and players have taken their corresponding drinks. The player with the most remaining cards at the end of the game wins and can ask their partner to do any action they wish!

3. Strip Poker

Ready to take the fun up a notch? Strip Poker is the perfect game to play with your partner on date night if you’re ready to get a little naughty.

How to Play Strip Poker

The rules for Strip Poker are pretty similar to those in a regular Poker game. You need a deck of cards and try to wear as many clothes as possible.

1. Choose a game to play

Pick your favorite variation of Poker, such as Texas Hold’em or Five Card Draw.

2. Lay out the rules for stripping

Before starting the game, agree on how much clothing will be removed when a player loses a hand. This could vary from one piece of clothing per hand to a more gradual removal of clothing.

3. Shuffle and deal the cards.

Shuffle the deck well, and have the dealer distribute five or seven cards to each player (depending on which game you choose).

4. Play as usual.

Play Poker as usual, but instead of betting money, remove an item of clothing (or multiple items if agreed upon) for each hand lost.

5. Keep playing until someone is naked.

Continue playing until one player has lost all their clothing. The winner can then decide what happens next!

Blow the Cards work similarly to Jenga, testing your precision and balance skills. The aim of the game is to blow cards off a deck without toppling over the entire stack.

To start this game, you will need a deck of cards, your drinks, and a shot glass.

1. Create a tower of cards.

Fill your shot glass with alcohol and stack a deck of cards on top. Make sure to build the tower stably.

2. Take turns blowing a card off the tower.

You and your partner will alternate turns blowing cards off the top of the tower. You can only use your mouth - no hands allowed!

3. Take a drink if you blow off more than one card.

If you accidentally blow off multiple cards, you must take a sip of your drink.

4. Avoid blowing off the last card!

UNO is a popular card game that can be played with or without alcohol. Trust us, adding a little alcohol to the mix makes it even more fun!

How to Play UNO

UNO is a game of matching colors and numbers. The objective is to be the first player to eliminate all your cards.

1. Gather the necessary materials.

You will need a deck of UNO cards, drinks, and some friends (or just your partner).

The dealer will distribute seven cards to each player, and the remaining stack will be placed in the center of the table as a draw pile.

3. Start with the first card from the draw pile.

Turn over the first card from the draw pile and place it next to it. This is now the discard pile.

4. Play your cards in sequence.

Players must match either the color or number of the card on top of the discard pile. If a player cannot play, they must pick up one card from the draw pile and miss their turn.

5. Drink and add rules for specific cards.

If a player plays a card that matches the color of the discard pile, they can make another player take a sip from their drink.

7. Blackjack

Famously known as a casino game, Blackjack is a fun and easy card game to play with your partner. It’s a great way to add friendly competition to your date night!

How to Play Blackjack

The aim of Blackjack is to beat the dealer by getting as close to 21 points without going over. Here’s how you can play this game with your partner.

1. Set up the game.

You will need a deck of cards, drinks, and your partner. Decide who will be the dealer first.

2. Deal two cards to each player.

The dealer will give the other player and themselves two cards each, with one of their cards facing up.

3. Take turns hitting or standing.

The non-dealer player can choose to hit (ask for another card) or stand (keep their current hand). If they go over 21 points, they bust and lose the round.

The goal of the game is to reach 21 points or get as close to 21 points as possible.

Here’s how to count the cards:

  • Ace: 1 or 11 points
  • Jack, Queen, King: 10 points
  • Remaining Cards: number of points = number on the card (Ex. Card 3 = 3 points)

4. Compare hands with the dealer.

After both players have finished, the dealer will reveal their second card. If they have a higher score than the non-dealer player without busting, they win.

For example:

Player 1: 19 points (winner)

Player 2: 18 points (loser)

5. Drink if you lose.

The losing player must sip their drink or take a shot as a penalty.

8. Slapjack

Slapjack is a fast-paced and exciting card game that requires quick reflexes. It’s perfect for couples who love a bit of adrenaline rush in their date night games.

How to Play Slapjack

Slapjack, also known as Slaps, is a card-based game that’s all about speed and accuracy. To start, you need a standard 52-card deck and your choice of drinks.

1. Shuffle the deck. Make sure to mix up the cards well so that they are evenly distributed.

2. Deal out all the cards, face down, to each player. Because you’re only playing with two people, you each should have 26 cards.

3. Ensure both players’ decks are facing down and in front of them. You can play with the deck held in your hand or placed on a table between the two players.

4. Take turns flipping over one card from your deck at a time, starting with player 1. Toss a coin, use a dice, or any other method to decide who goes first.

5. Pay close attention to the cards flipped over by both players. If you see a Jack, slap it as fast as you can! The first person to slap Jack takes all the cards underneath and adds them to the bottom of their pile.

6. Keep playing and flipping cards until one person has all the cards. This is called winning the pile! Whoever loses takes a shot or drinks their drink as a penalty.

2. Shuffle the deck and place it face down in front of you.

Both players should have a clear view of the cards.

Player 1 will start by naming something from the category that starts with the first letter of the card. For example, if the card is “K,” you can say “Kansas” for the category “cities.”

4. Player 2 must then name something from the same category.

For example, if you said “Kansas,” your partner could say “New York” for the same category. This continues back and forth until one person can’t think of an answer within 5 seconds.

5. The person who cannot come up with an answer takes a drink as a penalty.

You can also make it more challenging by setting a time limit instead of using the letters on the cards! This game can become more difficult and fun with each round. Try it out! 😊
