6. Jenga as a Drinking Game

Ready to take a classic game to the next level? Jenga, as a drinking game, combines the nerve-wracking tension of pulling wooden blocks with the laughter and looseness that comes from having a few drinks. Trust us, trying to stack a block on a wobbly tower gets a whole lot trickier when you’ve got some alcohol in you!

Available on

How to Play Jenga as a Drinking Game

The base rules are pretty much the same as your standard Jenga—stack blocks to build the tallest, teetering tower. The twist? Each wooden block has an action written on it that you must perform when you pick it.

Continue playing by stacking blocks and completing the actions specified on each one. Whoever knocks the tower over loses and, you guessed it, takes a drink. It’s a high-stakes, hilarious way to make your next hangout unforgettable!

Jenga Drinking Rules

The labels you add to each Jenga block can range from silly to spicy, so let your creativity run wild! To get you started, here are some ideas for what you might write on your blocks:

  • 4 Eyes - All people with glasses on must drink.
  • Accent - Play the whole round, speaking in an accent of your choice. If you fail to keep up with the accent, take a drink. The round is over when it is your turn again.
  • Bartender - You must refill everyone’s glasses immediately.
  • Floor is Lava - The last person to stand on their chair drinks.
  • Titanic - The ship goes down; everyone has to drink their drink.
  • Flip Cup - You have three tries to flip a solo cup and land it upright. Fail, and you drink.

7. Higher or Lower

So, you think you’ve got a sixth sense for guessing? Time to put it to the test with Higher or Lower, a thrilling card game that’s absolutely perfect for a group of three.

Higher or Lower is a simple yet addictive card game that’s perfect for a trio. It’s all about your ability to make accurate guesses, and the best part is, the stakes get higher with each correct call!

How to Play Higher or lower

Gather three people and a deck of cards to kick things off. The dealer hands out an initial card to the first player, who then has to guess whether the next card will be higher or lower than the one they’ve just received.

  • Wrong Guess? Take a sip.

  • Correct Guess? Keep the streak going! Guess again for the next card.

Nail three consecutive guesses, and you have a choice: you can continue with your lucky streak or opt to “pass” the turn to the next player. Remember, when you pass, the next player picks up right where you left off.

Should you guess incorrectly, you’ll drink for each card that’s currently on display. Want to dominate in Higher or Lower? The key is to string together as many correct guesses as possible before passing the baton to your opponent.

So, are you feeling lucky? 🃏🍻

10. Chō-Han Bakuchi

Chō-Han Bakuchi is a simple traditional Japanese dice game that is fun to play. It is a game that has been played by the Japanese throughout history and is usually seen in Yakuza movies. Also known as Chō-Han, it is also one of the best drinking games for three that will keep you and your friends entertained!

How to Play Chō-Han Bakuchi

One player takes on the role of the dealer and rolls two six-sided dice into a bamboo cup or bowl. The dealer then slams the cup upside-down on the floor, keeping the dice hidden. Another player takes a guess: will the total number rolled be “Cho” (even) or “Han” (odd)? Once bets are in, the dice are revealed, and the winner gets the money.

If you’re playing Chō-Han as a drinking game, players can bet having to take a drink instead of betting money. Your drink can be sips of beer or a shot of tequila or vodka.

Chō-Han Bakuchi can be played in two ways. All the players can play against the dealer, or they can play against each other.

11. Seven Eleven Doubles

Up for some dice-rolling fun? Seven Eleven Doubles, also known as Pound, Hero, or Sloppy Dice, is a riveting drinking game perfect for three players or more. In this game, the dice decide your fate, and your aim is to roll a 7, 11, or any double. Let’s dive into the rules!

How to play Seven Eleven Doubles

First off, place a glass filled with beer or your preferred beverage in the center of the table. Once you’re set, one player kicks off the game by rolling two dice.

  • If the player rolls a 7, 11, or a double, they can make an opponent drink.

  • If the player does not roll a 7, 11, or a double, it’s the next player’s turn.

Here’s the catch: As soon as the designated drinker starts sipping, the person rolling the dice can roll the dice again until they get another 7, 11 or a double. If they’re able to do this before their opponent puts the glass back on the table, the glass will be refilled, and they can keep on rolling the dice.

If their opponent finishes the beer and gets the glass back on the table before a 7, 11, or double is rolled, the tables turn. Now they get to roll the dice and potentially make someone else drink.

12. Three Man Dice Game

The Three Man dice game is a classic drinking dice game that is popular in colleges, parties, and social gatherings. The game doesn’t require much of a setup. Just gather some friends, prepare a pair of dice, and don’t forget the alcohol!

You can add your own variations and rules when you play this dice game. The objective of the Three Man dice game is to avoid becoming the Three Man and to also avoid getting drunk!

How to Play Three Man Dice

Three Man Dice is played by taking turns to roll a pair of dice, and then carrying out actions depending on the numbers rolled. Each turn consists of rolling both dice and performing the corresponding action, which usually involves drinking.

The rules can also be improvised based on the dice-throw combinations. A turn consists of throwing both dice and ends after the player drinks as a result of the dice combination.

Here’s a quick rundown of the basics:

  1. To start playing, you need to determine who will be the Three Man. Each player rolls a dice. The first one to get a 3 becomes the Three Man. They will have to wear a hat while they are the Three Man.
  2. The Three Man determines who will be the first player.
  3. Whenever a player rolls a three by combination or one dice showing three, a new Three Man will be chosen by the current Three Man. The hat is then passed on to the player, who becomes Three Man.

Three Man Dice Rules

The real fun starts when you begin rolling! Players need to perform actions based on the dice combinations that they roll.

Here are some Three Man Dice Rules:

  • Three - The Three Man drinks.
  • Six - When a combination totaling 6 is thrown, whoever is sitting to the right of the roller takes a drink.
  • Seven - When a combination totaling 7 is thrown (the highest odds), everyone drinks!
  • Nine - When a combination totaling 9 is thrown, the person sitting across from the roller drinks (if 2 people, both drink).
  • Eleven - When a combination totaling 11 is thrown, whoever is sitting left of the roller takes a sip of their drink.
