How to Play “Trivia”

Playing a game of Trivia is easy! The main objective of the game is to get as many correct answers as possible. Here’s how the game works:

1. Pick a trivia master! Before you start your game, assign a player to be the trivia master first. The trivia master’s job is to read the questions aloud and keep track of the scores.

2. Divide into even teams. Divide your group into two or three teams (or let each player play individually).

3. Decide on categories and time limit. Once the teams are formed, choose a category for the first round of questions. Set a time limit for each question and make sure all teams have a chance to answer.

4. Start asking questions! The quizmaster chooses a category and starts asking the questions! The first team has to answer the question within one minute. If they answer the question correctly, they get two points.

5. Collect and steal points! If the team gets the answer wrong, the next team gets a chance to answer the trivia question but within 30 seconds only. If the next team gets the answer right, they get 1 point.

Keep playing until all categories have been covered or until the time runs out. The team with the most points at the end wins!

“Trivia” Game Rules

Ready for some friendly competition with “Trivia”? Follow these simple rules to make sure everyone has a fun and fair game:

1. Choose a theme for each round. Making your rounds themed adds an extra layer of excitement and challenge. For example, you could have a “Hollywood” round or a “Sports” round — the possibilities are endless!

2. Get a buzzer for a more intense experience. If you’re playing with a larger group, it can be hard to keep track of who answered first. A buzzer is the perfect solution — it makes sure that the fastest player gets credit for their answer.

3. Use rewards and dares. To make the game even more exciting, you can offer rewards or dares to the winning team or penalize the losing team with fun and silly tasks.

Tip: Playing solo? These days, you don’t even need other people to play “Trivia”. You can find a variety of online quizzes, games, and apps that let you test your knowledge without needing anyone else. Just download our “Trivia” app and get playing!
